This was an interesting program that the San Diego Central Library ran. Basically, patrons could come and chat with a diverse selection of people in one-on-one interviews about their lives. Some talked about being disabled, others transgender, and others talked about their jobs. The goal was to let people talk to those different from them, and the program was highly rated by those who attended as “titles” and those who were patrons.
